HEELS BLEED

Vid Vesligaj, a visionary Croatian stylist known for his distinctive fusion of gothic aesthetics and streetwear, currently based in Berlin, invites creatives Maria Bayer and Lyanel (Côte-d'Ivoire) into an immersive collaboration. Set on the scenic coast of Bjert Strand in Denmark, this overnight shoot captures the creative energy between them. This project is a testament to New Afro’s mission—bridging diverse creative worlds and fostering powerful collaborations that transcend borders. "MASOLO YA L'ART" (A blend of Lingala and French, meaning "Art Talks" — where "Masolo ya" means "talks of" in Lingala, and "l'art" means "art" in French).

We are working on a series of podcasts with different actors of creatives scenes of the African continent and elsewhere. The general topic will be Art, especially topics embodying African art-practices, identity, cultural heritage and African contemporary art.
